Seminar Highlights: Business and Partnership Opportunities in the United Arab Emirates
On Wednesday, November 19, the Arab-Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce (ABLCC) had the pleasure of co-hosting a highly successful seminar dedicated to exploring business and partnership opportunities in the United Arab Emirates. Organized in collaboration with Beci and the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Brussels, the event gathered approximately 70 participants from the business community.
The seminar opened with welcoming remarks from His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Al Sahlawi, Ambassador of the UAE to Belgium, and His Excellency Mr. Antoine Delcourt, Belgian Ambassador to the UAE, who joined the event online. Their introductions set the tone for a session focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation and identifying new avenues for economic collaboration.
We were also honored to host Mr. Stefano Antonelli, Chief Representative for Europe at the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, who provided an in-depth overview of the advantages and strategic benefits of investing in Dubai. His presentation was followed by an online intervention from Mr. Mohammed Ibrahim Mohammed, Senior Manager of Corporate Sales at the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), who showcased how DMCC supports businesses of all sizes through its comprehensive ecosystem
The program continued with insightful testimonials from Mr. Nabil Jijakli, Group Deputy CEO at Credendo, who emphasized the UAE’s strong and stable risk profile, one of the best in the MENA region. Mr. Larbi Boujrad, General Manager EMEA at GWS Advisory, further highlighted the UAE’s strategic positioning, long-term national visions, and the main sectors offering promising opportunities for foreign investors.
The event concluded with an engaging presentation by Mr. Jean-Pierre Martin, Country Manager Belgium & Luxembourg at Emirates, who retraced the airline’s history, milestones, and international expansion.
