As part of the Belgian Diplomatic Days 2026, the Arab-Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce (ABLCC) organised its 13th anual Diplomatic Reception, in partnership with the Belgian Foreign Trade Agency (BFTA) and the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Held on 4 February 2026, the reception brought together Arab ambassadors accredited in Belgium, Belgian ambassadors accredited in Arab countries, as well as Belgian companies and members of the Chamber. This annual gathering has become a key moment for dialogue, offering a unique platform to exchange views on Belgium’s bilateral trade and economic relations with Arab countries.

The evening featured insightful interventions by Mr. Qaisar Hijazin, Secretary General of the ABLCC, Ms. Fabienne L’Hoost from the Belgian Foreign Trade Agency, and Ms. Birgit Stevens from the FPS Foreign Affairs. Their contributions highlighted the importance of diplomatic engagement, economic cooperation, and strong institutional collaboration in fostering sustainable partnerships between Belgium and the Arab world.

Beyond the official addresses, the reception provided an excellent networking opportunity, encouraging informal discussions between diplomats, institutions, and the business community in a convivial and constructive atmosphere.
