45 7TH INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF SAHARAN TOURISM (FITS) – TIMIMOUN, 4–6 DECEMBER 2025 Under the patronage of Madame Horia MEDDAHI, Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts, the 7th edition of the International Festival of Saharan Tourism (FITS) will be hosted by the enchanting city of Timimoun, often called the “Pearl of the Gourara,” from 4 to 6 December 2025. FITS has established itself as a premier cultural and tourism event, celebrating the richness of Saharan heritage, local craftsmanship, and sustainable tourism practices. The festival offers a unique platform for tourism professionals, government representatives, cultural organizations, and artisans to showcase the region’s potential, exchange expertise, and foster economic development.
