Q8 operates an extensive network of service stations in Belgium and continues to invest in fuel distribution, mobility services, and cleaner energy solutions that reflect the evolving demands of European consumers. A recent example of th i s ongo i ng commitment is the opening of a new Q8 service station in Berchem, Luxembourg, one of the largest and most modern in Europe. This development reflects the direction in which Kuwait’s international energy investments are heading—combining operational excellence with innovation, sustainability, and customer-centric design. At the national level, Kuwait continues to invest significantly in its petroleum sector, with over $33 billion allocated through 2029 to enhance production capacity and reach a target of 4 million barrels per day by 2035. At the same time, we recognize the global shift toward sustainability and are actively advancing our strategy to include renewable energy, petrochemical expansion, and environmental innovation. Belgium, with its world-class expertise in petrochemicals, green logistics, and clean energy technologies—particularly through hubs such as the Port of Antwerp—is a natural partner in this transition. We see growing potential for collaboration in areas such as green hydrogen, carbon capture, sustainable fuels, and advanced industrial solutions.
