17 On 16 December 2021, the Arab-BelgianLuxembourg Chamber of Commerce, in close collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Tunisia in Brussels, held a webinar called: “Doing Business with Tunisia”. Thi s webinar represented a unique opportunity for participants to discover the Tunisian market, its export power as well as its untapped potential. It enabled more than 60 participants - be they companies, associations, or businessmen – to get to know more about key investment sectors and opportunities in the Republic. But why focus on Tunisia? In recent years, the country has become an ideal place and high-quality environment for European investments, despite the external difficulties the country has suffered in the past decade. This is because the Tunisian economy is becoming increasingly diversified, resilient, and flexible, as well as more open towards the world. It also relies on high-quality human resources and competitiveness. Moreover, is its economy known for having a good capacity to adapt quickly to circumstances and as a safe hub for companies to invest in. Besides that, is Tunisia also very strategically located, in between the crossroads of Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. It is because of these reasons that the interest of companies in the Tunisian market is growing rapidly. This was clearly showcased by our webinar and all of its participants. In the webinar , we were pleased to welcome the Ambassador of Tunisia in Brussels, His Excellency Mr. Nabil Ammar, and the Ambassador of Belgium in Tunis, His Excellency Mr. Christophe de Bassompierre. Amongst some of the other important speakers were Mr. Mounir Mouakhar, President of the Chamber of WEBINAR | “Doing Businesswith Tunisia” 16 December 2021
